Vichy Opera House
Vichy boasts, among other things, the only Art Nouveau Opera House in France.

Inaugurated in 1905, the building is the work of Charles Lecœur, where as the interior is the work of the painter Léon Rudnicki, an enthusiast for Art Nouveau. The vault of the cupola of the dome is adorned with the faces of artists of the time. And the ironwork, doors, balustrades and ramps are the work of Emile Robert and the masks of the sculptor Pierre Seguin.
The Vichy Opera House, was listed as a Historical Monument in 1975, then classified in 1996. It is the only "Art Nouveau" theatre in France.
The program is divided into a Winter Season which is devoted to theater, dance, live performance and lyrical shows; and a Summer Season which celebrates classical music, opera and ballet.
