When it has been built at the beginning of the XX century, the Arverna was named Hôtel du Grand Condé, in honnor of a famous Bourbon, Louis II Great marshal of France, winner of Rocroy and who caused many problems to Louis XIV - the Sun King - before collaborate with him.
